It was pretty fun. Not a fan of the 4 hour drive and leaving at 5:30 am but it was fun. Wasn't exactly what I had expected but it still went well. Oh and I got to meet a guy who was one of my inspirations to become a science teacher while there. Used to watch his show daily as a kid! Yup, I met Bill Nye the Science Guy! And I even got my picture taken with him.

Talk about neat. But ya, home now. Now to bed...

glad you had a good time and got to see your idol! guess that photo will go on the mantle near a pic of your fiancee!

as another month comes to a close--march was pretty much a lamb.... here is hoping that the rest of the spring (and summer) will be just as nice! (I got the elves out of the computers--still running diagnostics though--might be a few strange days).

finally going to see another doctor (new one) today, we shall see if they are the 'tell me exactly what is wrong with you so I can repeat it back to you and charge you' type or the 'hmmmm, its all in your head, that'll be $$$$'....would be nice to find one that actually listens and comes up with their own ideas for a change, but really doubtful on that.

Why fruit is so damn good when you find it in nature and eat it, but when you buy it from a store or something similar, it's sprayed with all kind of crap that makes the fruit not as healthy and taste like shìt.

Why are farmers ruining perfectly good fruit and vegetables and some food with pesticides!

That's what i want to talk about hehe.

They were worried about our peach and pear crops because of a freeze earlier this week but the weren't damaged. Now it might snow a bit tomorrow morning. pwnd, BIll Nye is one cool person and I could see why you would find him an inspiration.

sorry about that frost there rr, but I think the diagnositcs are finished and we should have nice weather again for a while...

need to have a bunch more tests run, will see how my new insurance does (if they just laugh and pass the total cost on to me or actually pay part of it).

Nice weather? Ya... Supposed to be 83 tomorrow and 88 on Monday. Then 70 on Tuesday? But no storms in the forecast? I call bologna! There should more certainly be storms that night.

On to what azzer was saying, they also want to keep pests away. Pest that can ruin the crop and such. So ya, organic would be the way to go but it isn't very likely.

I don't know if it will go on the mantel but it was spread around school yesterday. The guy who I wen with sent it out to the whole high school staff so all my students knew about it lol

got step one of the plexi case project done...need to remeasure, remeasure, re....and make really really sure we have it right so we dont need to get more plexi and do it all over again.....getting closer to having the case done!

but now my back and I are deciding on which pillow to use in our nap----

We got plenty of rain last night. Supposed to get some more tomorrow.

I was tempted to make my own plexi case for a terrarium for my bearded dragon. In the end I just bout one cause I didn't have time. Oh well.

Went and shot guns this morning then came back and took a nap. Good way to start break.

gee must be nice ....breaks were one of the few reasons that I would have become a teacher----but alas, the bad points (pay, kids....) outweighed that (and the fact I really dont like kids!).

Ya, breaks are really a nice perk of being a teacher. If we didn't get breaks, there probably would be very few teachers. Cause all the other ones would be in the looney bin. o.O

So I've recently been watching the Golden Girls again (I'm not even sure if Cosy used to watch that !) and I must say, it's pretty much the Tv show I like the most !

golden girls---sorry havent watched that since it first came out (and then only out of desperation...just dont like rue)...been watching little house on the prairie..

and even found dr quinn on last night (my hair is longer than hers!)...and on sundays one of the cable channels has been showing old buck rodgers and the original battlestar galatica (not that cummmy one from a few years ago that made me ill to watch).

Barca? I'm not a big fan of Barca or Real Madrid tbh. Though I do like Messi, I think he is a great player and is pretty humble compared to some other players (Lookin at you C. Ronaldo!)

Yep Betty White is in it ^^. And I LOVE Rue, well I love the four of them. That show is so full of priceless moments xD.
But I have never watched Dr Quinn or Little House.

Meh I don't think only Barca players have an ego as huge as a soccer field. Some French players are so despicable >.>

Ya that should be a good game. Benfica has been overlooked by a lot of clubs and have surprised them. Chelsea better be careful!

I loved Dr Quinn when it first aired...back in the ....90's? (had no cable back then so tv channels were rather limited...used to watch that and ds9)....I loved her hair and how even though she was doing stuff all day long it stayed nice a neat braid and she had some pretty neat styles (I learned to do the hair twist since it was one she used a lot)...since long hair wasnt popular back then (is it now?????) it was nice to see ladies who utilized theirs effectively.
